Iggy’s gonna be the first real superstar female rapper you guys ignore Lauryn and Missy’s grammy’s and critical acclaim ignore Nicki’s platinum albumS and sell out tours and critically acclaimed mixtapes ignore it all, ms crocodile dundee dropped one mediocre 8 track mixtape and did 2 songs that everyone only knows the chorus too SHE’S the one to watch!!!
What I had for breakfast this morning is more important than Iggy Azalea.
I do not understand how they say she’s gonna be the ‘first real female rap superstar’ or some shit and then they proceed to list people who’ve already done what they’re trying to say iggy is the first to do…
what awards has iggy even won tho??
what has she done??
who has she worked with other than t.i.???
like why do people give a shit about that elmer’s glue lookin hoe???
Name something other than fancy and that ft on the Ariana Grande song please
^^^^If someone had a gun to my head telling me to list them, I’d get ready to go with god
I have literally never heard anybody in the industry give Iggy props (except J lo but that’s because she reaching for a hit no shade to j. Lo) I’ve heard ppl say that like the catchiness of the hook to fancy but Iggy ain’t even singing the hook but yeah I don’t get why she’s “popular” and I’m not even sure if she is that popular because the general opinion seems to be that she sucks
Tired of seeing chicks looking like Sade in the face and Djimon Hounsou about the neck.
Sephora and MAC have failed you and you need to tell them niggas square up.
This is so hurtful :-(
Yes and the girls at those counters are not trained to understand under and over tones. Mac foundations where originally meant to neutralize so what NW means is “neutralize warm” NC means “neutralize cool” so if you have warm toned skin you’re supposed to us an NW to make your overall skin time neutral …the issue with this is most black women are warm toned in the center of the face and cool toned on the perimeter of the face, well that NW foundation you’re using isn’t meant to neutralize that cool tone on the perimeter of your face so the center of your face the foundation matches and the perimeter just looks “ashy” and the color match is off. There is also such a variation between the Mac formulas that you can be an NW 45 in a studio fix foundation and a NW 50 in the studio sculpt foundation. Also that NW, NC system was started when Mac was still a privately owned professional use only cosmetics line 20+ years ago, now it’s owned by a big cosmetics company and has been turned into a consumers brand but they didn’t change the language and marketing to something consumers could understand… I could go on and on about MAC (and all the other brands) about the injustice and improper training of the ppl that represent their brands at the counters do to Women of color (especially those that have deeper skin tones)….sigh this whole conversation makes me sad because it makes my job as an MUA a little difficult because a lot of this is a little over the head of the typical client….
